The mediator’s job is to organize secure negotiations, help the parties hear each other’s actual interests and check what options are realistic. The mediator is not a judge, does not impose a decision and does not represent one of the parties.
The procedure is based on voluntariness, equality of parties, confidentiality, independence and impartiality of the mediator. If necessary, a joint meeting, separate negotiations or an online format is held.
The procedure is carried out by Andrey Viktorovich, a professional mediator with higher education in psychology, additional professional training in the field of “Mediation”, as well as certificates of retraining and advanced training in negotiations, conflictology and dispute resolution.
Andrey Viktorovich is a member of a self-regulatory organization of mediators and follows the principles of voluntary participation, neutrality, equality of the parties and confidentiality. His work addresses both the agreement itself and the psychological dynamics of the conflict: resistance, the parties’ interests, risks of escalation and whether the agreed arrangements are realistic.
A successful process may lead to a mediated settlement agreement. With the parties’ agreement, it may be submitted to a notary for notarization, increasing legal certainty and simplifying subsequent performance.
